Frank McMahon’s professional career is in social work and services, and working with national charities. He lives in Cirencester. He is a published poet online and in print, a playwright with one radio play to his credit and a published short-story writer. He is a member of a local writers’ group, and is currently working on a children’s novel.

Naomi Wood is a performance poet and multidisciplinary performance artist who reads regularly in London and has been published online and in a local liberal arts publication. Naomi says that she is inspired by nature, innocence and vulnerability, strength, frailty and power. “I aim to create pieces that incite riotous acts of joyful disobedience, celebrating empowerment and rebellion. I am inspired by the mythical landscape of the human psyche and how nature reflects our own strength and vulnerability,” she told morphrog.
Angela Kirby was born 1932 in rural Lancashire, and now lives in London. She has also lived in France and spent considerable time in Spain and the US. The author of five books on cooking, gardening and related subjects, her poems are widely published and broadcast; much of her work has been translated into Romanian. Among several other prizes and commendations , she was the BBC’s Wildlife Poet of the Year in 1996 and 2001. Shoestring Press published her four collections: Mr. Irresistible, 2005, Dirty Work, 2008, A Scent of Winter, 2013, The Days After Always, New and Selected Poems, 2015. A fifth collection is due from them in April 2019
Michael Jackson studied at the MFA Slade School of Fine Art in London before moving to Bavaria, Germany in 1999 after a 1.30 a.m. romance in an off-licence bar in Soho. “After leaving the reason I left for Germany, I settled down with my now wife and had a child,” he told morphrog.
Chris McDermott is a priest, mediator and trainer with a professional background in conflict resolution and communication skills. Although he has lived in Zimbabwe, South Africa and the USA, he has spent most of his working life in a multi-faith environment in Newham and Redbridge. He is now lead chaplain at the University of Sussex.
